Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani on Friday gave yet another disastrous TV interview in which he admitted that President Donald Trump has been making wild charges about surveillance of his campaign without any evidence.

When asked by CNN's Chris Cuomo about Trump's assertion that there was a spy embedded within Trump's campaign, Giuliani admitted that he didn't know that for a fact and had only been told about it by a confidential source.

"I don't know for sure, nor does the President, if there really was one," Giuliani admitted.

Giuliani also acknowledged that Trump had no evidence to back up the infamous claim he made last year that former President Barack Obama had ordered a wiretap of Trump Tower.
