Corey Lewandowski, President Donald Trump’s former campaign manager, showed zero compassion for a girl with Down syndrome being separated from her parents at the U.S. border.
Zac Petkanas, a Democratic strategist, said during a Fox News panel discussion: “I read today about a 10-year-old girl with Down syndrome who was taken from her mother and put in a cage."
Lewandoski responded: “Womp, womp."
CNN's Don Lemon called his comment "disgraceful."
"There is a word for that. That word is disgraceful. But make no mistake, President Trump could stop this now if he wanted to," Lemon said.
