White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders' complaints over being denied service at the Red Hen restaurant in Virginia were put to the test during a Tuesday fact-check by MSNBC anchor Chris Jansing.
"I always do my best to treat people, including those I disagree with, respectfully and will continue to do so," Sanders claimed.
"I just want to play a few little clips from the press briefing room," Jansing noted, playing clips of Sanders belittling the press corps.
"I want to say, I worked in that room for 2.5 years and I have the highest respect for the level and quality of the journalists who work there every single day," Jansing explained. "These are smart, dedicated, hard-working people and she often questions their intelligence."
