Former Donald Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski had another bizarre interview on CNN on Wednesday, struggling to defend the administration's child separation policy while refusing to apologize for his controversial "womp, womp" attacks on a 10-year-old girl with Down Syndrome who was "put in a cage" by Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
CNN anchor John Berman repeatedly tried to get Lewandowski to comment on the competence only reuniting six children since Trump reversed-course on this zero-tolerance policy.
Lewandowski deflected four times by saying he was not a member of the administration and also refused to discuss his interactions with President Trump during a Las Vegas campaign swing.
He also repeatedly threatened to kill the interview and self-eject himself from the set.
While not apologizing, Lewandowski did lash out and Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) for suggesting Trump officials should continue to be publicly shamed.
Lewandowski defended the president's thinly-veiled threat against the Democratic Party lawmaker.
