Vice President Mike Pence's political action committee, the Great America Committee, apparently has more money than it can keep track of.
Pence's group is funding conservatives across the country. Including Carol Miller, a Republican state delegates running for congress in West Virginia.
Except, as Talk Media News reports, Pence got the wrong Carol Miller.
His group accidentally sent a check for $5,000 to Carol Miller of New Mexico.
The New Mexico Miller is a former candidate from the Green Party who played spoiler in a 1997 race that she tilted toward an ultra-conservative Republican.
“It was surprising because it arrived in my post office box for ‘Friends of Carol Miller,'" Miller told TMN. “They must just be sitting there all day, sending out checks to candidates.”
The Green Party candidate forwarded the check to the Republican along with a statement claiming that she "spent [her] whole life working for everyone to have access to universal health care and opposing the corporate military establishment in the United States."
“I have spent my whole life working to alleviate the human suffering that is occurring around the country – from the coalfields of Appalachia to the frontier communities of New Mexico," she wrote in handing over the money. "All over the United States, people are suffering from government actions that your policies would increase and perpetuate. So, at the same time that I’m forwarding this check to you, I’m urging all of the Carol Millers in the United States to support your opponent, Richard Ojeda in the November election."
