A federal judge ruled Thursday that a former aide to Trump ally Roger Stone must testify before special counsel Robert Mueller's grand jury, according to the Washington Post.
Andrew Miller received a subpoena to appear before the grand jury earlier this year. Miller's attorney had tried to block the subpoena, arguing that the Mueller probe was unconstitutional, but Chief Judge Beryl Howell ordered Miller to "appear before the grand jury to provide testimony at the earliest date available."
Miller worked for Stone around the time of the Republican National Convention in 2016, according to the New York Times.
“We’re disappointed with the court’s ruling,” Miller’s attorney Paul Kamenar told the Washington Post. “But the judge obviously took our challenge to Mueller’s constitutionality seriously as evidenced by the 93-page opinion.”
Mueller has also subpoenaed "Manhattan madam" Kristin Davis, who worked with Stone. Davis reportedly had "numerous interactions" with Miller as well.
