MSNBC's Mika Brzezinski called out Ivanka Trump for living in a "parallel reality" as her father and other family members move closer to legal peril.
The "Morning Joe" co-host said President Donald Trump's inner circle is shrinking, and his increasingly frantic tweets betray his anxiety over the special counsel probe into his dealings with Russia.
"Ivanka and Jared (Kushner), who are, I guess, still in there," Brzezinski said. "I think Ivanka is running for president or something. You see on Instagram she's hopscotching the country, as if nothing is wrong, doing little selfies and pictures of herself in Iowa and Indiana, and anywhere else, connecting with people -- sort of."
"It's an incredible parallel reality going on with his inner circle," she added. "It seems like the smartest people got voted off the island, and this is the worst case of 'Survivor' you will ever watch, because you know how it ends -- very badly."
