Police find weapons of mass destruction in North Carolina man’s house after he sexually assaulted a minor

Charlotte police found weapons of mass destruction while arresting a man for sexually assaulting a minor.

WBTV reported that after Charlotte Mecklenburg Police officers learned that 28-year-old Zachary Richard Gibson kidnapped and sexually assaulted a minor, they got a warrant for seven counts and searched his home.

There, they found the minor — and the “weapons of mass destruction.”

Though WBTV did not describe the weapons found in Gibson’s home, similar charges indicate that it could be a pipe bomb or similar form of explosive.

Gibson, the report noted, has been charged with “two counts of indecent liberties, first degree kidnapping, felonious restraint, possession of a weapon of mass destruction, statutory rape and statutory sex offense.”

“We’re talking about an invasion of our country with drugs, with human traffickers, with all types of criminals and gangs,” Trump said in a speech declaring a national emergency.

According to law enforcement, the shipping container traveled from Chile, Panama and the Bahamas, NBC Philadelphia reported.
