An aide who used to work in the White House blasted Donald Trump for his spat with Attorney General Jeff Sessions and called him a "baby."

"It is a complete disgrace the way that Trump is acting like a schoolyard bully against Sessions,” a former White House official told the Washington Post.

“I understand his frustration," Trump's ex-aide continued. "I understand why he feels the way that he does. But what a child. What an absolute baby. He’s disgracing himself.”

In an interview with Hill.TV, the president bemoaned his relationship with Sessions, who he's been publicly angry with much of his presidency after the attorney general recused himself from the Russia investigation.

"I don’t have an attorney general," Trump told The Hill. "It’s very sad."
