Addressing a former roommate of Kavanaugh's who has accused the judge of lying about his excessive drinking in college, CNN contributor Rick Santorum claimed there was no way the former friend of Kavanaugh would remember black-out incidents.
"James Roche doesn't know whether Brett Kavanaugh blacked out," Santorum, the former GOP senator, snarled.
"He knows if he had memory lapses," CNN host Alisyn Camerota pointed out to Santorum, only to be talked over.
"I just don't buy that," Santorum shot back. "You remember that from 35 years ago? Sorry -- bullsh*t. I'm just saying, it's just ridiculous."
From that point forward, Santorum and Camerota traded accusations, with the conservative commentator dismissing all allegations against Kavanaugh -- including from several women who have accused him of sexual assault -- as a "hit job" by Democrats with Santorum shouting over the CNN host.
