On Monday, Andrew Gillum [D-FL] slammed President Donald Trump after Trump negatively referenced him in a speech. Gillum, a candidate in Florida’s gubernatorial race told Trump to stop talking "trash" about his State.

Gillum currently serves as the Mayor of Tallahassee. While speaking at a rally in Orlando, Trump made a slick remark about an FBI corruption probe happening in the city.

“If you look at what is going on with corruption in that area, his opponent has a lot of problems and I don’t know if they talk about those problems, but I will," Trump said.

Gillum took to Twitter to quickly refute the president.

"Don't come to my state and talk trash about my city while we are preparing for a Category 3 hurricane. We need a partner right now, not a partisan," he wrote on Twitter.
