A free version has been posted online of the long out-of-print Mark Judge memoir -- which chronicles his youthful drinking with a brief appearance by a future nominee for the U.S. Supreme Court.
Judge, the high school friend of federal judge Brett Kavanaugh, published the memoir, "Wasted: Tales of a GenX Drunk," in 1997, but the poorly received book quickly fell out of print and was mostly forgotten -- until last month.
That's when Christine Blasey Ford came forward to accuse Kavanaugh of trying to rape her at a drunken party, while Judge was in the room.
A copy of the book was listed for sale on Amazon for $1,949.99, but the full text was posted Wednesday online and made available for download here.
Kavanaugh has denied any resemblance to the "Bart O'Kavanaugh" character who makes a brief appearance on page 59, but Judge apparently refers to him by that name in a high school yearbook entry.
The future nominee signed a 1983 letter to friends as Bart, when he's helping to set up a "Beach Week" vacation that's also described in Judge's memoir.
