Special counsel Robert Mueller's team is moving to seize Paul Manafort's properties by the end of the month — including his Trump Tower condo and home in the Hamptons.

NPR Justice Department correspondent Carrie Johnson tweeted that in a new court filing, the special counsel's team announced "that it wants to take control of Paul Manafort's Trump Tower condo and his estate in the Hamptons 'on or after October 20, 2018,'"

The forfeiture is "part of the broader forfeiture in his plea deal," Johnson added.

News that Manafort will have to forfeit four posh homes he owned as part of his guilty plea broke last month.
