Trump whines about media coverage of 'small protest' against him at Pittsburgh memorial for murdered Jews

President Donald Trump on Wednesday morning issued an angry tweet attacking the news media for reporting on large protests that greeted him in Pittsburgh when he went to attend a memorial for eleven Jews who were killed by a white nationalist over the weekend.

"Melania and I were treated very nicely yesterday in Pittsburgh," the president wrote. "The Office of the President was shown great respect on a very sad & solemn day. We were treated so warmly. Small protest was not seen by us, staged far away. The Fake News stories were just the opposite-Disgraceful!"

In fact, hundreds of Pittsburgh residents organized to protest against the president's visit to the Tree of Life Synagogue on Tuesday, where they marched just a block away from the synagogue's location.

What's more, CNN reported that Trump's motorcade had to be redirected in a different direction from its initial planned route due to the size of the protests.
