During the Overtime portion of HBO's Real Time, host Bill Maher and his entire panel ganged up on Fox News for becoming "Trump TV" and inciting fear and hatred in its viewers.

Responding to a viewer question about whether there will always be room for Fox News contrarian Shep Smith, guest Chelsea Handler said that fixing the network starts at the top with media mogul Rupert Murdoch.

"Isn't it time to boycott Fox?" Handler suggested. "Isn't there something we can do? I mean, we want to hold Rupert Murdoch accountable in some way. There has got to be a creative way to squeeze those advertisers on that network."

Host Maher jumped in to say call the Fox News network "state TV," adding that is what dictators have, noting their worshipful coverage of President Donald Trump.
