MSNBC’s Morning Joe mocks John Kelly’s empty threats to leave the White House: ‘’Screw you guys, I’m going home’

MSNBC's Joe Scarborough mocked the endless reports that John Kelly was leaving his job as White House chief of staff, after another round of articles about chaos in the executive branch.

President Donald Trump reportedly wants to dump Homeland Security chief Kirstjen Nielsen and her mentor, Kelly, who was undermined by first lady Melania Trump -- who demanded the firing of Mira Ricardel.

"We've been hearing about a year now that Kelly was on his way out, he's told people I've had enough of this," Scarborough said.

The "Morning Joe" host compared those threats to Eric Cartman's signature line in the long-running "South Park" animated series.

"He's like Cartman in 'South Park,'" Scarborough said. "At the end of every episode, he says, 'Screw you guys, I'm going home,' and he never (does). He's always back the next episode."
