President Donald Trump complained bitterly that special counsel Robert Mueller was pressuring at least three of his campaign associates to plead guilty to crimes related to the Russia probe.

Former campaign manager Paul Manafort lost his cooperation agreement with Mueller after investigators said he lied to them after pleading guilty, and he reportedly shared information about his testimony with the White House.

"While the disgusting Fake News is doing everything within their power not to report it that way, at least 3 major players are intimating that the Angry Mueller Gang of Dems is viciously telling witnesses to lie about facts & they will get relief," Trump tweeted. "This is our Joseph McCarthy Era!"

Conspiracy theorist Jerome Corsi has said Mueller has offered him a guilty plea, and he admits to helping Trump associate Roger Stone concoct a cover story related to the release of stolen emails by WikiLeaks.

Stone, however, has not yet spoken to Mueller or his team.
