An analysis of Donald Trump's ever-mounting legal trouble revealed a shocking number of entities he's associated with being under investigation.
The Washington Post reported that in the two years since his surprising victory in the 2016 presidential election, "nearly every organization" Trump led in the last decade is under investigation.
The Trump Organization, the Post reported, is battling civil lawsuits probing its relationship with foreign government bodies as well as "looming state inquiries into its tax practices."
The president's charity is also involved in a protracted legal fight with New York state, which accused the Trump Foundation of "persistently illegal conduct," the report noted.
Special counsel Robert Mueller, the Post's reporters added, is investigating both the Trump presidential campaign and his inaugural committee.
The campaign's alleged ties to Russia have infamously been the subject of Mueller's investigation for a majority of Trump's presidency -- and new reports from this past week revealed that the special counsel is also investigating whether illegal donations were funneled through the inaugural committee as well.
Democrats who will soon be in the majority on the House Intelligence Committee once Congress reconvenes in January 2019 are also planning to take up the Trump inaugural committee probe as well.
