President Donald Trump was reportedly "subdued" and a "non-factor" at the G20 Summit in Argentina.

But he did leave the gathering of world leaders with a deal to suspend his trade war with China, according to news broken by NBC News reporter Philip Rucker on Twitter.

"Trump agrees to temporarily suspend trade war with China, holding off on raising tariffs on $200 billion in Chinese imports for 90 days, while Xi agrees to buy US farm product and designate fentanyl a controlled substance, per White House.

The deal between Trump and Chinese leader Xi Jinping was hinted in the immediate aftermath of the event, but the confirmed news may be a boon to stock markets.
