MSNBC anchor Rachel Maddow detailed the timeline that special counsel Robert Mueller revealed in the sentencing memorandum for Mike Flynn, Sr.
On Tuesday evening Mueller filed the heavily-redacted memo that recommended no prison time for Flynn, who served for 24 days as President Donald Trump's National Security Advisor before being caught lying to the FBI.
Maddow broke down the timeline of the scandal, including during the campaign and transition -- plus the early days of the Trump administration.
She noted what Flynn was doing, how he got caught and the significance of the charges against him.
Flynn traveled extensively with Trump during the 2016 campaign and was integral in the transition, before he joined the administration in the key position of National Security Advisor.
