Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) received a voicemail threatening to put a gun to his face and the person responsible has finally been arrested.
According to WoodTV8, a Grand Rapids, Michigan man was indicted Jan. 9 after an October threat left on the senator's New Jersey office voicemail.
Rick Lynn Simmons left a profanity-laced message with racial slurs and strange threats.
“Come on, you bring it on buddy. Just me and my wife and we got guns a-blazin'. You wanna come in here?’ The message said, in part.
If convicted the man faces 5 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
