The husband of White House counselor Kellyanne Conway mocked President Donald Trump for apparently lying to the American people about Jared Kushner's security clearance.
On Thursday, The New York Times reported Trump gave the order to grant Kushner security clearance despite red flags being raised during the vetting process.
“I was never involved with the security” clearances for Mr. Kushner," Trump told The Times in a January interview.
“I know that there was issues back and forth about security for numerous people, actually. But I don’t want to get involved in that stuff," Trump claimed.

Kushner's wife Ivanka Trump, a fellow senior White House advisor, also faces accusations she lied to ABC about the granting of security clearances.
