Trump continued to spread lies about immigrants during his State of the Union address.
“The president was pushing his immigration agenda big-time. And he made a point of drawing on social divides,” Cuomo said.
“[Trump is] a part of the problem when it comes to immigration, as he sees it because he hires illegal workers. Not once, but for years. Not one place, but many. At least the golf clubs, at least five of them have hired undocumented workers,” Cuomo said.
Cuomo then interviewed immigration lawyer Anibal Romero, who is representing about two dozen undocumented workers at Trump’s golf courses.
“I have seen pay stubs for all 25 clients,” Ramiro said. “And what’s interesting is, all of my clients were not paid health benefits. And according to them, other workers were paid health benefits, retirement plans. My question is, why weren’t the undocumented immigrants paid health benefits?”
“We are talking about a large number of people who lost their jobs. And again, that’s why we’ve been asking for a complete and thorough investigation. A review of business records will show that they have hired numerous undocumented immigrants throughout the years,” he said.

CNN’s Camerota baffled as GOP senator spins Chuck Schumer power-grab conspiracy theory
CNN host Alisyn Camerota seemed visibly stunned on Friday morning as a Republican senator spun an elaborate conspiracy theory about Sen. Chuck Schumer by claiming the impeachment trial of Donald Trump is just a cover for the New York Democrat to make himself Senate majority leader.
Defending President Trump, Sen. John Barrasso (R-WY) complained about having to watch videos of House impeachment hearing witnesses multiple times during the Senate impeachment trial, before turning his ire on Schumer.
"You know, Alisyn, what this is about -- and Chuck Schumer has been out front about it -- this isn't about removing the president. It's about Chuck Schumer trying to become the majority leader in the United States Senate," he accused. "He has targeted specific members of the Senate. He has attacked the Senate, the process, the senators [by] running commercials against them."
Trump ‘should be removed’: Impeachment trial
Lead House impeachment manager Adam Schiff called dramatically for the Senate to remove President Donald Trump from office Thursday, saying the US leader cannot be trusted to put the country's interests ahead of his own.
"The American people deserve a president they can count on, to put their interest first," said Schiff.
His impassioned words capped a long day in which Democrats detailed Trump's illicit scheme to pressure Ukraine to help his 2020 reelection campaign.
"You know, you can't trust this president to do what is right for this country. You can trust he will do what's right for Donald Trump," Schiff added.
