More than 200,000 leaked chat logs show white supremacists are trying to recruit students at San Diego college campuses.
The online chat logs show members of the Identity Evropa group that helped organize the violent "Unite the Right" rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, are trying to cultivate a more respectable public image but continue privately expressing Islamophobic, anti-Semitic and racist views, reported the Los Angeles Times.
Online whistleblowers published the chat messages and linked them up with social media posts, and they have exposed a Virginia school police officer and seven U.S. military service members.
A local branch of Identity Evropa has visited colleges in the San Diego area at least a dozen times since fall 2017.
