Speaking at dinner at President Donald Trump's Florida Mar-a-Lago resort on Friday night, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) once again called for an investigation of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to the delight of the Trump supporters attending a fundraiser.
Graham had been scheduled as the keynote speaker at the event before special counsel Robert Mueller submitted his report to Attorney General William Barr.
According to a report from CNN, President Trump was looking on as Graham spoke after telling a separate crowd, "If Lindsey’s speaking, I want to come down here for two reasons. No. 1: he’s a great speaker. And No. 2, I know if I’m here, he’s not going to say anything bad about me.”
Before a crowd that was celebrating the news that there would be no additional indictments -- for now -- Graham made the call for going after Clinton again, which led the crowd to start chanting 'lock her up."
CNN's Kevin Liptak reported, "A 'lock her up' chant broke out at Mar-a-Lago tonight during Sen. Graham’s speech as he called for an investigation into Clinton and the origins of the dossier. Trump watched on from a table in the ballroom."
