The chairwoman of the Republican National Committee lashed out at the press on Saturday.

RNC chair Ronna McDaniel issued a "media bias alert" and specifically attacked MSNBC's coverage.

"On Friday, when the [Robert] Mueller report was completed, ISIS’s last stronghold in Syria was also eliminated," McDaniel claimed.

"Since then, MSNBC has not covered ISIS’s defeat for a single minute, refusing to acknowledge this huge win for [President Donald Trump] and the world."

After McDaniel lashed out at MSNBC for not covering the accomplished mission in Syria, a number of people pointed out that NBC News crew was involved in bomb attack -- in Syria.

"We are thankful that NBC employees escaped unharmed, however one of the local drivers working with them was tragically killed," NBC News President Noah Oppenheim said. "Our deepest sympathies go out to his family and loved ones."

McDaniel subsequently received a great deal of criticism for her attack on MSNBC.
