On Monday, Twitter users railed against Fox News host Tucker Carlson after he made multiple degrading comments.
His slurs were unearthed by Media Matters. Carlson responded to the unearthed comments by whining on his show.
“One of the only places left in the United States where independent thoughts are allowed is right here, the opinion hours on this network, just a few hours in a sea of television programming,” Carlson said at the opening of his show.
Twitter users reacted to his show by saying that his comments were “just sick.”

Reality check: Tucker Carlson is not going to get fired from Fox News he’s not going to resign either. Fox News doesn’t care that he is an asshole because everyone at Fox News are assholes too. #FireTuckerCarlson

Would any other on-air personality survive at any other network if they had said the things we are now hearing Tucker Carlson to have said?
