President Donald Trump again denounced journalists as "the enemy of the people" for reporting his campaign ties to Russia.
The president insists special counsel Robert Mueller exonerated him, although even his attorney general's four-page summary makes clear that's not the case, and has demanded that media outlets fire or ban reporters and lawmakers who have accused him of campaign collusion.
"The Mainstream Media is under fire and being scorned all over the World as being corrupt and FAKE," Trump tweeted. "For two years they pushed the Russian Collusion Delusion when they always knew there was No Collusion. They truly are the Enemy of the People and the Real Opposition Party!"
House Democrats have set a deadline for next week demanding the release of Mueller's report, but Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) intends to block the U.S. Congress from seeing the findings.
