Counselor to the president Kellyanne Conway furiously fired back at "State of the Union" host Jake Tapper on Sunday morning after she claimed the White House was cleared by special counsel Robert Mueller -- and the CNN host listed off close Trump associates who are serving time or are under indictment.

In a typically contentious exchange with Conway -- who repeatedly spoke over Tapper as she tried to change the subject -- the  host tried in vain to get her to admit that there is evidence of White House criminality contained in the Mueller report.

As Tapper pointed out that former National Security Adviser Mike Flynn, ex-campaign chairman Paul Manafort and "former fixer" Michael Cohen are facing jail time, Conway shot back, "Not the president."

"You said no crimes were charged. 33 people --," Tapper attempted before being cut off by Conway who insisted, "That had already happened before the Mueller report."

"The Mueller report was excruciatingly disappointing for many people who were hoping Mueller would finish the job," Conway asserted, as Tapper pressed, her, "You said there were no criminal charges."

Attempting another angle, Tapper remarked, "But people in the campaign talked to Russians knowingly."

"Not Donald Trump and not a lot of folks who are close to him," Conway parried.

"Jared Kushner, Donald Trump Jr." " Tapper suggested.

"No crime, no criminal conspiracy, no collusion, no help from the Russians that amounted to anything," Conway claimed. "And the Mueller report makes very clear including with [White House counsel] Don McGahn's testimony, that this president and his administration never obstructed, impeded or interfered."

"That's not at all what it says," the CNN host bluntly told her, adding, "That's not true," as she continued to talk over him.
