On Monday, CNN reporter Manu Raju fact-checked President Donald Trump on Twitter after he lied about special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation.
Trump failed to do an in-person interview with the Mueller's team, and instead submitted written questions. However, on Twitter, he lashed out at Mueller, claiming that people close to him were not being called to testify.
"Isn’t it amazing that the people who were closest to me, by far, and knew the Campaign better than anyone, were never even called to testify before Mueller. The reason is that the 18 Angry Democrats knew they would all say ‘NO COLLUSION’ and only very good things!" he tweeted.

However, minutes later Raju called out the president for his blatant lie.
"Trump himself was asked to testify but his lawyers fought that request and agreed to send written responses, which Mueller’s team viewed as inadequate," he tweeted.
