Attorney General William Barr appears before a Senate Appropriations subcommittee to discuss the Justice Department’s fiscal 2020 budget request.
The attorney general is expected to face questions about special counsel Robert Mueller’s report on his Russia investigation, which Barr has promised he would release in the next week.
The hearing is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m.

"It was extraordinary today when she -- in effect, begged -- asked, certainly, members of the committee to stop supplying Russian talking points, to stop advancing Russian propaganda in the Congress of the United States," he continued.
