Republican donors aren't happy with President Donald Trump and the way he's running things.

According to a recent Vanity Fair report, traditional donors allege they're "not being taken care of" despite their hefty dollars.

Since money is so prevalent in politics after the Citizens United ruling, donors believe they're entitled to access, events, positions, jobs and more.

"They don't return favors," one former administration official told Vanity Fair.

The campaign staff are apparently having a hard time with donors and it might be one of the reasons their fundraising has been so lackluster the past two quarters.

“There’s no follow-through,” one donor who has interacted with the campaign told the magazine.

Other donors have been angry that the president isn't appointing them or getting them confirmed to ambassadorships and political appointments fast enough.

“All these people were supposed to be ambassadors by now, but they’ve been slow-rolled. Trump is furious,” the former official said.
