The public release of President Donald Trump's tax returns could "put him over the edge" psychologically, MSNBC anchor Nicolle Wallace detailed on Thursday.
"Donald Trump may be losing ground in his fight to keep his taxes hidden from the American people indefinitely, just as his legal team was making its case to a federal judge that Congress’ demand for the returns was unconstitutional," Wallace reported.
"The state Senate in New York delivered a new blow, passing a bill that would make it easier for congressional committees to look at a president's state returns," she continued.
If Trump's taxes are revealed, it could be psychologically devastating for the commander-in-chief.
"And that is that we know, he’s obsessed with the size of everything, the size of my hands with [Marco] Rubio, the size of my crowd at my inauguration ... now it is this thing that is essential to him as his hair and God knows what else -- the size of his bank account," Wallace explained.
"This really seems like that thing that could put him over the edge," Wallace noted.
