A United Airlines pilot allegedly had an Orthodox Jewish man dragged out of an aircraft lavatory with his pants down, shouted an antisemitic tirade and had him arrested because he took too long on the toilet, reported The Independent reported Friday.
According to the report, a lawsuit claims Yisrael Liebb, 20, who was flying from a resort town in Mexico to Houston, Texas, had been suffering from constipation and spent a prolonged amount of time in the facilities, agitating the crew.
Ultimately this led an "enraged" pilot on the flight coming "to break down the bathroom door, yank the trouserless traveler off the toilet, and dress him down in a shocking antisemitic tirade while nearby passengers gawked," the lawsuit claimed.
In his lawsuit, Liebb argues that after being gone 20 minutes, a flight attendant instructed his seat neighbor, Jacob Sebbag, to find him. Sebbag knocked on the lavatory door, upon which Liebb said he was "experiencing constipation" and would be out as soon as he could, which Sebbag then relayed to the crew.

However, the report continued, 10 minutes later the pilot approached the restroom and "began yelling loudly at Liebb, demanding he leave the bathroom immediately,” then turned to Sebbag and “began loudly demanding he force Liebb out of the bathroom,” the suit continued. Ultimately, the pilot broke open the door and dragged Liebb out of the bathroom with his pants lowered, according to the complaint, and the pilot allegedly proclaimed he'd have both Liebb and Sebbag arrested and raging about how "Jews act."
Liebb was turned over to Customs and Border Protection after the flight landed in Houston, upon which, alleged the complaint, agents told him, “You have no rights here.”
Neither United Airlines nor CBP offered any substantive comment on the alleged incident, the Independent reported.
