'Quite the stud': Alex Jones praises Matt Gaetz after new claim of underage sex
The Alex Jones Show/screen grab

Conspiracy theorist Alex Jones praised former Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) despite a second allegation that he sexually assaulted a 17-year-old girl.

On his embattled Infowars show Thursday, Jones reacted to the news Gaetz had withdrawn his name as President-elect Donald Trump's nominee for attorney general, which came as CNN was set to report that a woman told a House committee she was sexually assaulted by the former lawmaker at least twice while she was 17 years old.

"I treat women super nice," Jones insisted. "So does Trump. Women love me. And so, I mean, I know what's happening to Gaetz."

"They interviewed a bunch of the women on Gaetz, you know, that are all like 35, 40 years old now, because this goes back 12, 13, 40, 50 years," he claimed of the woman, who is now in her 20s. "The women, they said, oh, that guy's so nice. Oh yeah, I did date him. Yeah, you know, I did have sex with him in a hotel room. We took ecstasy. It was me and two other girls."

Jones argued the girl Gaetz allegedly assaulted was "super gorgeous."

"People are like, damn, Matt Gaetz is quite the stud," he remarked. "So yeah, Matt Gaetz is human. Okay, so now we know."

"That's it, we're really bad people, we like women."
