Alex Jones melts down over reparations: 'Some other white person owned slaves'

Conspiracy theorist Alex Jones, who owes over a billion dollars to Sandy Hook families, is concerned that he might also have to pay reparations for slavery.

While speaking to host Steven Crowder on Tuesday, Jones noted that a Biden appointee had called for a reparations tribunal in a recent speech to the United Nations.

"It's totally insane," Jones complained. "I know your audience knows this, but we've got to get in the face of these people. We've got to get in the face of the city councils and the state houses and just hammer these people and say, this is pure crap."

Jones argued that he should not be punished "if my dad hypothetically murdered somebody."

"How am I guilty when some other white person's ancestors owned slaves?" he asked. "Again, 2% of the South had slaves; look it up. Over half the white people that are in this country now had ancestors that moved here after slavery was abolished."

"It's total crap," he added.

Jones has declared bankruptcy for himself and his business to prevent families of Sandy Hook victims from being paid for damages after he was found guilty of defamation.
