Former Trump Organization Chief Financial Officer Allen Weisselberg will plead guilty to perjury charges, ABC News reported on Monday.
The terms of Weisselberg's plea will remain under seal until he appears in court on Monday, ABC News' sources say.
Allegations that Weisselberg perjured himself during testimony at the Trump Organization civil fraud trial first surfaced last year when business publication Forbes wrote that he lied during sworn testimony based on years-old emails that Weisselberg had sent the publication in which he tried to convince its reporters that Trump's apartment in Trump Tower was worth more than what they were estimating.
These emails directly undercut Weisselberg's claims under oath that he never put any thought into the measurements of Trump's apartment, which was listed in some documents as having nearly triple its actual square footage.

Weisselberg already spent several months in jail at Rikers Island in New York because of tax fraud charges, and the New York Times is reporting that he "now faces additional time on Rikers" after having lied under oath.
What's more, the Times notes that Weisselberg's perjury agreement could serve as a deterrent to other Trump allies who are set to take the stand at his other criminal trials, starting later this month with Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg's case against Trump for allegedly committing fraud while making hush-money payments to adult film star Stormy Daniels.
