U.S. Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) on Sunday returned fire at the richest man in the world, Elon Musk.
Recently Ocasio-Cortez has been in the news for massive events alongside Senator Bernie Sanders.
Right-wing influencer Mario Nawfal took to X over the weekend, suggesting that GPS data "exposed astroturfing" at the huge rallies. Astroturfing is the practice of hiding funding or sponsors in politics.

"Despite claims of 34,000 attendees, GPS data analysis reveals the real number was closer to 20,000—still big, but not record-breaking," according to Nawfal. "More revealing? A whopping 84% of those devices had shown up at nine or more other protests, including Antifa/BLM events, pro-Hamas and pro-Palestinian demonstrations, and Kamala Harris campaign stops."
Musk responded to that claim, writing, "The Dems just move around the same group of paid 'protesters.'"
That caught the eye of the popular Democratic lawmaker, who responded, "Someone’s butthurt."
"At the very least you can find a new, more interesting conspiracy theory to peddle," she then added.
