In a briefing to the press on Sunday afternoon, Baltimore City Police Commissioner Richard Worley confirmed that they believe there were two shooters involved in the mass shooting that left at least two dead. Another 14 people under 18 years old and at least 15 adults were also injured with gunshots.
While the police gave a recap of what is known thus far, they also issued a plea to the public for doorbell cameras or other possible footage that could help with their investigation.
The event being held is an annual neighborhood party they call "Brooklyn Day," the Baltimore Sun reported.
"This investigation is ongoing, and we will not rest until the people responsible are held accountable," said Mayor Brandon Scott and the police department in a joint statement.
Reporters noted that in the past there have been police at the event, but Worley said that there weren't officers there this year because they didn't apply for a permit for the event.
