'Charlie Kirk unleashed something': Steve Bannon says Trump 'like Christ' at UN speech

MAGA influencer Steve Bannon credited Charlie Kirk's murder for President Trump's rambling and defiant speech at the United Nations.

"Let's say that was not a wildly enthusiastic applause," Bannon said following Trump's address on Tuesday. "No applause. President of the United States, I don't think I've ever seen a harder throw down in my life with the work of the United Nations."

"I do think Charlie Kirk's assassination execution has unleashed something in the president," he continued. "Extraordinary. Maybe about time on earth. I'm telling you, absolutely extraordinary."

Bannon argued that Trump had put United Nations member countries "on notice."

"This is like Christ going into the temple, putting them on notice," he insisted. "I know who you are and I know what you've done, and it's evil and it's wrong and I'm stopping it."

"The President of the United States throws down as hard as you can possibly throw down," he added.
