Comedian and "The View" co-host Whoopi Goldberg was called out by Fox News' Sean Hannity for wondering why some have selective amnesia when recalling what life was like before President Joe Biden won the election to occupy the White House.
"Whoopi Goldberg is accusing you of having memory issues for believing you were better off four years ago," he said on his program.
He also took a dig at Goldberg's popular morning show, sarcastically calling it, "That hard-hitting news show."
The conservative commentator was riffing off Goldberg's consternation about the difficulty to recall the turbulent year that was 2020.
"So why is it some people are having short memory issues?" she asked during the show. "There are plenty of other reasons to feel good about where we actually are. Why isn’t that tracking?"
"Women were realizing something was happening," she said. "If you were coming from another country, if you were coming to this country to find a better life, you were not welcome."
"Listen, it wasn’t a good time for lots of people."
She then went on to question whether the people who were sent back to their native countries during Trump's presidency that she claims fractured families were better off.

Then she hit COVID.
"And all you have to do is to ask 'Are we better off than we were?'" she said. "Ask the thousands of people who are no longer here."
The live audience could be heard gasping.
"That's how you know if we're better off," she said. "Ask their families, 'Are they better off without their family? Are they better off without their loved ones?'"
"What a stupid question! It's a stupid question and disrespectful to the American people in my opinion, my humble opinion."
Trump and his allies raised the question last month.

Trump asked the question to his supporters on the Truth Social platform.
Back when Biden took over the helm, the country was recovering from a lengthy shutdown brought on by the COVID pandemic, hard-hit jobs market and an economy in recovery.
President Joe Biden willingly answered it indirectly.
“Speaking of Donald Trump, just a few days ago, he asked the famous question at one of his rallies: Are you better off today than you were four years ago?” Biden told a crowd of donors. “Well Donald, I’m glad you asked that question, man, because I hope everyone in the country takes a moment to think back when it was like in March of 2020.”
