After months of bashing Joe Biden, Donald Trump sold himself as the president's defender Thursday as he unleashed an attack on the Democratic Party — and Biden's old friends.

Trump went on his Truth Social platform to describe Biden as treated terribly by the Democratic Party and his old allies.

“He is an angry man, as he should be,” Trump wrote.

“They stole the Presidency from him — It was a Coup!’”

Trump was basing his theory on reports that Biden has been invited to speak on Monday at the Democratic National Convention.

The time slot is on opening night, and Trump said at a North Carolina speech Wednesday that it was the quietest night of the event which usually saw B-list speakers.

The former president also accused Vice President Kamala Harris, the new Democratic Party’s presidential nominee, of giving her partner in the White House the cold shoulder.

“Kamala Harris wants NOTHING TO DO WITH CROOKED JOE BIDEN,” he wrote.

“They are throwing him out on the Monday Night Stage, known as Death Valley."

“He now HATES Obama and Crazy Nancy more than he hates me! He is an angry man, as he should be. They stole the Presidency from him — “It was a Coup!”

Though Biden was reluctant to step down from the presidential campaign as many in his party expressed concern about his mental fitness, once he did he immediately gave Harris his endorsement. He has not publicly expressed any anger.

Trump is scheduled to give a press conference later Thursday at his New Jersey estate, though the topic of it is not yet known.
