President Joe Biden is going after Donald Trump for his Wednesday speech where he took a shot at Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu while praising terrorist group Hezbollah.

Trump made his controversial remarks while speaking to supporters in West Palm Beach.

Among other things, he claimed that Netanyahu was opposed to assassinating Iranian Gen. Qassem Soleimani, about which Trump said "I'll never forget that Bibi Netanyahu let us down."

"And then, uh, Bibi tried to take credit for it," Trump said. "That was a — that didn't make me feel too good, but that's alright."

Trump then heaped praise upon Hezbollah, the terrorist organization based out of Lebanon that could potentially threaten Israel from its northern border.

"You know, Hezbollah's very smart," he said. "They're all very smart. The press doesn't like when I say that — but Hezbollah, they're very smart."

This clip from Trump's speech was posted by a Democratic National Committee Twitter account, which characterized it as "Trump goes after Israel, saying Prime Minister Netanyahu 'let us down' and needs to 'straighten it out' before praising the terrorists who attacked them as 'smart.'"

Joe Biden's account then reposted that with the statement, "Our nation’s support for Israel is resolute and unwavering. And the right time to praise the terrorists who seek to destroy them is never."
