In a session with reporters on Tuesday, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre dodged a question about whether the White House can provide additional information on President Joe Biden's health — but emphatically insisted he has the capacity to continue doing the job, following last week's debate in which the president appeared unfocused and weak for lengthy periods.

"Is anyone in the White House hiding information about the president's health or his ability to do the job day-to-day?" asked one reporter.

"Absolutely not," said Jean-Pierre.

"Given the fact that it's more than a bad night when his political future is threatened, would he be willing to provide more medical information? Would he be willing to have Dr. O'Connor provides more to answer these questions?" the reporter continued to press.

"I certainly understand the question, I appreciate the question, but what we have provided has been very transparent," said Jean-Pierre.

"Is he disabled?" another reporter asked later, to which Jean-Pierre flatly responded, "No."
