Former Sen. Bob Menendez (D-NJ), who was found guilty last year on corruption charges, has been sentenced to 11 years in prison, as reported by the Wall Street Journal.
A jury last summer found Menendez guilty on all counts that included conspiracy to commit bribery, actions to benefit Egypt, and conspiracy For a Public Official to Act as a Foreign Agent.
Menendez resigned after his conviction and he has now been replaced by Sen. Andy Kim (D-NJ).
