Overturning Roe v. Wade accelerates a return to a dark time in American history

Even though I’m a woman of childbearing age, I’ve been privileged enough to never have had to deal with the prospect of an unwanted pregnancy or the choice of whether to carry a pregnancy to term. But as news of the Supreme Court decision overturning Roe v. Wade spread across the country, I found myself returning to a movie I watched my freshman year of college.
