CNN's Dana Bash was called out on Sunday by a legal analyst and other onlookers who say the journalist let Jim Jordan lie on her cable news show.
Confronted on CNN earlier in the morning, Rep. Jordan (R-OH) didn't have much to say when asked what happened to Republican party accusations that the 2024 election would be rife with fraud –– until Donald Trump won. Speaking with Bash, the verbose Jordan continuously changed the subject after she pointed that, even on election night, the former and incoming president was still claiming the the election was going to be stolen from him.

After that interview on CNN, legal analyst Marcy Wheeler, of EmptyWheel, spoke out against Bash and her interaction with the GOP lawmaker.
"Hey [Bash]? Why did you let Jim Jordan lie on your show and say Trump didn't go after his adversaries?" Wheeler asked. "I can't think of a more obscene lie."
She added, "There were TWO investigations into Hillary, both lasted 4 years. His DOJ tried to criminally frame Joe Biden."
That Gay Guy Candle Co. also chimed in, asking, "Why does Dana Bash allow Jim Jordan to come on her show and talk over her, giving his stump speech, to the point that she’s too exhausted, or too short on time, to fact check his statements?"
"Cut his f------ mic," the company added.
Former University Professor Alicia Purcell said, "I am sick of Dana Bash on CNN SOTU, letting Republicans like Jim Jordan, not directly answer questions and loudly & incessantly steamroll Republican talking points. Interrupt Him loudly and press Jordan for an actual answer! Then call him out if he doesn’t!!"
