Donald Trump needs to be called out for his "demeaning" view of women, former White House press secretary and current MSNBC host Jen Psaki said in a video released Thursday.

Psaki, who previously worked for Joe Biden before joining MSNBC, appeared on Morning Mika, an online show by the network. The show published Thursday included Mika Brzezinski, Psaki, Symone Sanders-Townsend, and Huma Abedin discussing Trump's view of women and the E. Jean Carroll defamation case.

On the show, Psaki is asked about Trump's various attacks on women, including the host, Mika Brzezinski. Specifically, Brzezinski played an audio clip in which Trump says he can "get away" with peeping on women in pageants, and then asked about the Republican women in power who are overlooking Carroll's experience.

"The hypocrisy of that is mind blowing, which is why it's so important to call it out. This is creepy, it's sexualized, it's gross, it's demeaning to women. It's completely disgusting," he said.

Trump's behavior betrays not only his "view of women, which is gross," according to Psaki, but his actual instability, as well.

"He posted 40 times about her in one day. That is not the action of a stable person," she said, adding that he is obsessed with the writer.

"This is a disgusting and demeaning view of women," Psaki said on Thursday. She added that it is how Trump has been for quite some time.
