Former defense secretary and CIA director Leon Panetta endorsed "cool-headed" Kamala Harris for president at the Democratic National Convention on Thursday and said it would be "foolish and dangerous' to re-elect former President Donald Trump.

Speaking to a packed house in Chicago, Panetta touted his accomplishments including giving the order to take out Osama Bin Laden overnight.

"Because nobody attacks our country and gets away with it," he said. "Nobody!"

Panetta emphasized: "That's what our warriors do."

"Our warriors need a tough, cool-headed commander-in-chief to defend our democracy from tyrants and terrorists," he said.

Panetta then shredded Trump, saying the MAGA leader would "abandon" U.S. allies — and isolate America.

"We tried that in the 1930s. It was foolish and dangerous then, and it's foolish and dangerous now," he said.

Panetta highlighted what he felt is the contrast between Trump and Harris.

"Trump tells tyrants, like Putin, they can do whatever the hell they want. Kamala Harris tells tyrants, the hell you can. Not on my watch," he said
