Speaking to the crowd at CPAC, former President Donald Trump claimed that he lied to other countries, manipulated them, and then withheld aid.
According to Trump, he withheld foreign aid unless countries were able to meet certain conditions. He went on to say that even after the conditions were met, he still refused to provide the aid.
It's unclear what aid he was talking about, but Trump's first impeachment was about his threats to withhold aid until Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky agreed to open a fake investigation into now-President Joe Biden.
Trump didn't specify which countries that he lied to in the CPAC speech.
